Styled to flatter, custom made to fit perfectly, designed to never go out of style, these coats are being collected by discriminating art lovers who know and want only the best. All coats are custom made for you by Betty David, a member of the Spokane Tribe of Indians. They are decorated with Northwest Coast Indian designs in a style shared by over 20 groups of Indians in Alaska, Canada and Washington. Simply stated, animal and spirit images artistically arranged to fill the space comprise the Northwest Coast style. Only a few hundred coats are produced each year, and each is truly one of a kind. Formerly available only at museum and craft shows (Betty David has won awards at all major Indian art shows) this wearable art is now available on the internet. The coats are warm, beautiful and made to be worn! Crafted of premium - grade Icelandic lamb, they are light weight and supple with fleece that feels more like silk than wool. The suede is impervious to rain & snow and is easily maintained with occasional dry-cleaning.
