Payroll Manager/Bookkeeper — February 1989–Present

Duties include weekly payroll, pricing of deliveries, accounts receivable, daily deposits, mid-month and month-end invoicing, handling customer disputes concerning all aspects of accounts, authorized to write checks. Prepare year-end summary reports, as well as spreadsheets requested by the owner, utilizing MS Excel and MS Word. Thorough knowledge and usage of messenger business specific software package called Datatrac COPS. Duties also include supervising order takers and customer service personnel.

YMCA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Assistant Aquatic Director May 1983–October 1988

Head lifeguard and Manager of swimming pool maintenance. Duties included swimming instruction for age 3 to adult. Taught beginning to advanced swim classes. Performed CPR twice in rescue situations while fulfilling lifeguard duties. At the time of employment held Advanced First-Aid certification from the Red Cross as well as Water Safety Instructor and was on the way to becoming a Water Safety Instructor Trainer. Performed all aspects of pool maintenance including pool chemistry and changing liquid-gas chlorine tanks (certified to do this). Swim team coach for both children's as well as adult (Masters) swim teams.

KRCL, 91 FM., Salt Lake City, Utah

On Air Programmer — September 1983–September 1988

Volunteer position responsible for programming and deejay duties on a weekly program at a community radio station. Programs I announced included the Sunday night alternative music program and the station's flagship 60's Rock program. On air duties included: programming of music played; announcing (all aspects); conducting on air interviews with politicians, entertainers, and local artists; keeping a log of all music played as well as the station log for all required public service announcements, promos, and station IDs. Duties also included fund raising via a twice-a-year Radiothon. Held the record for two years for the most money raised on a single program. This program had a listening audience of 10,000 people. I currently hold a valid FCC Class C Broadcast License.

Snowbird Ski Resort, Snowbird, Utah

Feasibility Study Director — March 1981–June 1981

Director of a study conducted for a ski resort to fulfill requirements of a graduate level course. I was in charge of ten students who were assigned to determine whether the resort would construct a proposed expansion of their Hotel. I wrote the market analysis for this project as well as designing the survey and topics to be studied. Largely based on this feasibility study, the resort expanded its facility.
